chef x salaryman, long distance relationship
The art is very particular, it stands out in a good way. It’s not generic, but also not ugly. It’s very nice, a little bit fluffy and also a bit messy. Nevertheless, it had good transitions and flow.
The characters are a-do-ra-ble. Their feelings really come through. They bring the reader on a journey of wholesomeness and cuteness overload. Personalities are well defined, simple characters who are in love.
The relationship development was slow paced but entertaining. I was rooting for them from the start. There wasn’t anything particularly complicated going on, so it makes for a light and cute read.
The plot was nicely paced, very sweet, and serene. I definitely feel a yearning for more, I think these characters can definitely have more going on. Who knows, maybe we’ll get a 2nd and 3rd volume? Not that things were left unfinished, I just feel like this author could go more in depth about the story, meanings, backstory, and overall development.
Definitely worth reading. Glad I picked this up. Will reread in the future when I feel like it.
