TRIGGER WARNING: this manga has violent depictions of sexual scenes and uses abuse disguised as romance. Viewer discretion is advised. The torturous love between devil Yoshimi and shy honey Riku. This manga tells the story of Riku, a bartender traumatized by his first experienced having sex and a regular playboy at the bar, Yoshimi. The art felt really personal, it felt very particular of the author. I didn't have any major complaints. Expressions where great and bodies were proportionate. Manly figures and faces really gave the feel of actually reading yaoi without it being bara- The art employs comic relief in scenes and funny faces! The characters develop slowly, but they are well defined in their personalities from the beginning. They don't change who they are, but rather grow. You might find that you love or hate a certain character at the beginning but by the end of reading this series you'll definitely change your opinion about said character. The relationship development. At the beginning, it was irritating to see all the humiliation going on and the way Yoshimi demands his needs to be met by the clueless and uncertain Riku. The series progressed nicely into a lovely romance and we got to see a much more gentler side of Yoshimi by the end. Riku doesn't set clear boundaries, but doesn't seem to completely reject and at times it is implied that he accepts what is going on. The rapey- feeling was there for me, but I didn't feel as guilty as I usually do. Hmm..? The plot sadisitic seme x innocent uke. Nothing that seams extraordinary, but since it's conveyed well it's worth it. This manga might seem messy, but it didn't feel overwhelming and I was able to follow through the story telling and dialogues properly. The plot certainly kept my attention going. The comedy adds spice to it too. Sure. There's better out there nowadays, but this is worth reading. Specially if you're into the sadistic seme troupe. Totally worth it. Would recommend.
