I liked Haruma but I just couldn't like Misaki. He seemed so wishy-washy

It wasn't bad but I must admit it was disappointing. I LOVED all the previous works by this author. The prologue made the story look very promising paired with an author that manages very well mature partnerships seemed like a match made in heaven. Yet this new concept of a society run by omegas instead of alphas is not really applied. It's the same regular omegaverse only their secondary gender swapped. You could have just as easily made Gain the alpha and Hyeono the omega and no meaningful change to story would happen. It could have been interesting to see the concept applied, it could have been thought from the point of view of a matriarchy. But in this story omegas behave just like alphas in all the other stories. They are prejudiced, imposing, violent. The world seems to keep running the same even though the gender with all the power suffers from pregnancies and the AU's equivalent of a period. The prologue promised a change, but it was thrown out the moment Gain rapes Hyeono on the first episode. It was futile making Hyeono accuse him of sexual assault and whatnot only for Gain to tell him he could go if he could stand for 30' of his pheromones. A.k.a. "you can go if you remain in control of your faculties after I drugged you". I expected more from this author. The couples in the other stories had good communication and the partnerships felt equal. Here, not so much. We can start with Chu being an asshole who barely apologies for only one of his many mistakes. Not to mention he keeps on repeating the same offense (leaving Hyunoh out in the dark regarding things that involved him and/or them as a couple). In the end it was a typical omegaverse of hateful A̶l̶p̶h̶a̶ omega falls in love with innocent/cute O̶m̶e̶g̶a̶ alpha.
