I'm usually scared of Shounen Ai because you never actually now whether they are gonna express their feelings or is just a tease. That's why I tend to read the comments first because without a confession it gets confusing.
For some reason I didn't read the comments on this one and I wasn't expecting that an 80+ chapters manga wouldn't go somewhere. Yet it did.
Their relationship could also be deemed as siblings-like. I saw more romance implied between Reichii and Okuno than between Kyomine and Takara.
The other thing that also annoyed me was Kyomine's inability to be responsible for his words and actions. I had no problem with him being blunt or maybe even harsh. But the amount of times he hurt Takara for being a selfish brat was once too much. In those moments he wasn't being blunt, and he wasn't speaking the truth. He was shutting Takara out and not taking him into consideration at all. I.E. when the accident occurred he didn't even thought about Takara being alone in the world, he just went and claimed him for everything, making him even more lonely. What would have happened had his father and Ayako died? Takara wouldn't have only lost his only left relative but also his closest friend. And Kyomine never apologised. The one always doing the apologies was Takara, even though it wasn't his fault.
Nevertheless it was a beautiful manga so worth reading.
