25/11/17: i remember when i first starting reading this it was maybe up to chapter 4? the very beginning of the butlers story. i've come across screen caps of this on insta so i wasn't surprised exactly, but i thoroughly enjoyed it beyond my expectations. heart-wrenching, i was crying 3/4 of the time for Miyauchi and i'm so glad he found happiness in his own destiny and the end. it really is very interesting, the concept of whether we choose our destiny or we just play it out. it was deeper than expected. beautiful art as well and the children are adorable. i enjoyed the story-telling a lot. i loved how decisions unfold slowly and you learn why the characters behave the way they do. even with the happy ending, there's a bitterness to it all. This, probably because their backstories are really dark and it seems very common in their fictional world. liked it very much, a bit heavy to re-read often, but good for when i want to be enveloped in well-written drama for a couple hours. Can i also just say that Kudou is such a genuine and straightforward sweetheart, Miyauchi deserves no less.
10/6/18: just read 12.7 for the first time (cries) and then reread 12.6 and kudouXmiyauchi are too sweet i want to cry every time i read about them... i should reread this soon.
