Oh this is too painful to know after reading the sequel, the fathers could not get their happy end at all dammit... I would totally root for them they seemed sweet and totally in love ugh. Still at leasy they kmew their love and were together at their last moments I guess :'

Complicated relationship but at least they are happy Still does not change the fact that I wish they got their peaceful happily ever after instead of this dramatic risky happiness
