It's strange how a story based on abuse and S&M had me hooked me on the parts completely unrelated to that. I kept reading because I saw a frustrated college kid just trying to make things work. He wants to graduate, find a job, support himself - but when caught in the middle of all his stresses the only thing he can do is take out his anger on others.
There was a scene where he bites into his boyfriend to the point of bleeding only to realize in pure confusion. All he could think off were his stresses at work, the only thing on his mind, and this made me feel sympatric towards this guy knowing the high levels of stress he was dealing with. He's not good at showing it or dealing with it. The style isn't my favorite, I often got characters confused but I read it through because of the small story it had with it and I enjoyed this glimpse of reality when it comes to other people.
