Megumi and Tsugumi

Ongoing | Si Mitsuru | 2018 released

This manga is so well written, it's morally sound with Megumi actively fighting against the rabid stigma of omegaverses only being about rape, and Tsugumi being a lovable dunce with so many good traits about him! Their world is fleshed out wonderfully, all the characters are well written (even the background ones!) and the entire narrative leading to something great! I want to see more work from this author. This is hands down one of my favs!

Abarenbo honey

Complete | TOBIDASE Kevin | 2015 released

This manga singlehandedly rejuvinated my love for delinquent stories and absolute hatred for "rich prince" stories. While this story is charming and hilarious, the whole body-gaurd and "he's too good for you" plot points had me rolling my eyes at times. The B-Plot story line was not for me at all either. Trust me when I say I liked it! But not as much as I could've if the story were changed quite a bit. As for the main plot. Super cute and fun!!! It’s definitely one I constantly re-read for simply how charming the characterization is. The art is so fitting and I love the way it implemented the omegaverse and mafia into one. Perfection!

It's strange how a story based on abuse and S&M had me hooked me on the parts completely unrelated to that. I kept reading because I saw a frustrated college kid just trying to make things work. He wants to graduate, find a job, support himself - but when caught in the middle of all his stresses the only thing he can do is take out his anger on others. There was a scene where he bites into his boyfriend to the point of bleeding only to realize in pure confusion. All he could think off were his stresses at work, the only thing on his mind, and this made me feel sympatric towards this guy knowing the high levels of stress he was dealing with. He's not good at showing it or dealing with it. The style isn't my favorite, I often got characters confused but I read it through because of the small story it had with it and I enjoyed this glimpse of reality when it comes to other people.
