Abarenbo honey
This manga singlehandedly rejuvinated my love for delinquent stories and absolute hatred for "rich prince" stories. While this story is charming and hilarious, the whole body-gaurd and "he's too good for you" plot points had me rolling my eyes at times. The B-Plot story line was not for me at all either. Trust me when I say I liked it! But not as much as I could've if the story were changed quite a bit. As for the main plot. Super cute and fun!!! It’s definitely one I constantly re-read for simply how charming the characterization is. The art is so fitting and I love the way it implemented the omegaverse and mafia into one. Perfection!
Blood Bank
Yes, just yes. We both already know this manga is fricking amazing in every way possible.
Never Understand
From what I can remember, this manwha was about the popular student council member falling for another kid who he thought was ugly. It was cute at first, but the story didn't know where to go after they fell for each other. The side stories were just plain wired (esp the one about the archery guy)... and the kidnapping scheme towards the end made little to no sense. I’m a fan of complex characters, but it wasn’t explored enough. Maybe I rushed through it, but the comic didn't end in a satisfying way.
Shiro to Tsubaki
I love how this manga sets up this world full of monsters and shared a story that touched on both ends of the spectrum. Tsubaki is really just an adorable incubus who doesn’t want to be a burden to anyone, and Shiro has to deal with his familial hierarchy while maintaining his relationship - though I wish he had a little more to him other than “I don’t care uhhh I’m in love.” I wasn’t fond of Akira at first, but he slowly developed in my mind, only acting the way he does because of his love for Botan! Akita being physical with Tsubaki is just a result of sex being all he knows as “love” and affection for Tsubaki, but he learns towards Ch 6 to just let him be free. As for the other supporting cast, they were all unique and very fun well rounded characters not meant for fodder but had a purpose as instigators. It’s so easy for authors to write their characters in a void but that was not the case here. I wanted more info on the demon world, but this manga told its story well and I look forward to the conclusion!
