Arthur is a low-life, a coward who uses people for his own convenience. Even when he try to get in the way of Kenta and Renji (what is a shity move) he still has halfassed feelings, he is only displeased for the thought of lose his toy for good because he had Reiji for granted, he thought he would chase after him if he flicked fingers. I dont know why some people are so fixated in the stereotype uke/seme at such extent to ship sb with an asshole and excuse him just because he is semeish. When renji said "I love you" He totally had his dead lover in mind. He may have realized his feelings for renji but when? after he hard hurt him a dozen times over. He even had the gall to feel smothered after going out with renji just for his own sake. He did not even tried to tell the truth to renji but instead flirted with renji in that half-assed way.
