It‘d be fine distancing yourself to minimize your own pain later on, but he‘s claiming to think about seme‘s feelings and wanting to do anything for his happiness by distancing himself. The plot itself started pretty well, but the author loves to create drama in uke’s head out of nothing. This is just dragging the whole thing.. 40 chaps and not much progress yet. Still liking this, so hopefully, it‘ll pick up the pace soon.
