It's been a while since I've read this one, but damn there's a lot that goes on in it lol. 4 stars seems kinda high, but 3 stars seems too low since I was interested in the storyline and the outcome of some of the characters. Assassin husband is obviously not a good guy, but his obvious issues with women from basically enduring sexual assault from when he first joined the assassin group as a young man to the present is messed up. I remember a lot of the comments not liking the wife, and yeah she not only cheats on her husband but basically is wishy washy and goes back and forth between him and the other guy henceforth known as chicken boy. I vaguely remember there being this other "version" of herself that pops up when she's being railed almost like her true inner voice talking to her, implying she had some sort of mental issues or personality disorder. But like that never went anywhere. The ending irritated me. I'm not saying there should've been a happy ending, but assassin husband basically ending up with one of the women obsessed with him and who rapes him is ugh. And don't get me started on chicken boy. I know he felt led on by the wife, but it's also his fault for being dumb and letting the pussy control him.
