One of my favorites! I love the premise of reconnecting with a best friend who disappeared. The uke is kinda a clumsy mess with bad luck, but. I love that the acknowledges it and doesn’t want to be dependent...but at when he finally does begin to do that (as a car salesman), he runs into the person he was always the most dependent on. There is an interesting tension where both of they want to be together (in at least a platonic soulmate capacity), but also think they are better apart.
