This manga was very cute and very deep. I started to tear up when the man character started to explain his self doubt.
Sweet Trap
This was such a cute story! I’m a sucker for a playboy falling in love at first sight and I loved that he didn’t balk when he realized he was attracted to a guy. The ending left me expecting at prologue at the very least, but I would read so much more about these characters. Also, l loved the dom/sub undertones. Side note: It’s funny remembering that when I started reading yaoi years ago I was only comfortable when the uke was feminine and seme masculine (same thing with stories and tv) b/c I was trying to apply traditional gender roles and the expectations of stereotypical heterosexual relationships.. And now I CRAVE a dominant, feminine looking top! I realized how much I have changed reading this manga, because I went into it waiting for the playboy to be the bottom! I’m kinda proud that I now find all types of stories (gay/het...) way more engaging when characters don’t force gender roles and change up the power dynamics.
