Honestly, at the beginning, I quite loved the fact that the shou did feel guilty and sorry and all of that. However, when shit continued, I hated the same thing I loved about him; that he felt guilty. It made him quite self-righteous at that point, and those kind of people are super annoying and selfish IMHO
However, a tiny speck of respect for him formed in my little hearteu after he took that final decision. Because he knew, that it wasn't right to continue on like this with all that cheating, to continue spinning in that same infinite vicious cycle.
I wouldn't say that what he did will solve all problems or that it won't hurt the 2 semes. However, what he did was all that could be done on personal level.
