I loved this so much that I can't describe my feelings in words. It's the kind of love that makes you cry mostly. The fact that the author confirmed the last scene isn't a dream is the last thread that preserves my sanity. I hope the two leads will manage to be happy in this life, genuinely. Both of them paid too many decades trying (and failing) to chase that happiness they can never seem to catch. (YAY found the book side stories!! They seem to have been doing quite fine for the following 10 years (19 to 29) and the extra ended at Jyo giving her friend a wedding invitation!!)

THIS IS PURE BEAUTY! Totally a cherry pick along with its kin: Secret Lady, The Only Ending for the Villainess, How to Get My Husband on my Side, Protect the Lovable You, Resetting Lady, Broken Ring, and some I may have momentarily forgotten. Anyways the bottom line is IT'S INCREDIBLE.

This is favourite up untill Ch.23 only. After that, I couldn’t comprehend much of what was happening, nor do I want to. And I won't accept the way Halt was disposed of just like that. Nope never. So I will consider this webtoon ended at chapter 23.

(Random note: ch.56~57 contains a few of his cute laughs and smiles) (Random note: prequel extras, I LOVE RANON ALRIGHT? This imperial family is a bloodline of great loving men, isn't it ♡) This webtoon is amazing amazing amazing. I really love our glowing moon (second prince & ML) and also the blazing sun (crown prince; although some may think he is heartles but OH DO I LOVE HIM. His impartiality and apathy may make him cruel and inhumane, but that's exactly what I love about him; he has always held his stand. The FL is quite lovable too, her character design is outstanding and she is so pretty haha I like her a lot. I also like the green-haired lady. Actually, the green glint in this entire webtoon is quite captivating rather than ominous :) This webtoon has breathtaking art, incredible engaging plot, and an intricately woven delicate piece of emotion net.

The amount of deaths I can't get over in this story are just too damn many.. Memoire to the pure fifth prince Dandelion, and his loyal silent aide Theodore Depennia. Memoire to the devoted redhair Iyan de Haiyan. Season 2 finale: I kinda feel like this should've been the end. The webtoon is great so far, but I don't think I have the energy to follow the next generation's story haha I'm old and tired asf. On a side note: might continue later as I still wanna know a few things (being: How will it end up with Radolph and Sys, wanna know more about the tower master, and I still have hope that Iyan is alive somewhere so I also wish he would suddenly show up one day).

I LOOOOVE IT! Baby Enrique I miss you lil bro. I wish he gets more screen time. Isidore (ML) is the sweetest, prettiest, strongest, most rich, talented mage, one hundred out of ten man. Shelved to stock and reread later T_T

It could just be my inherent indifference that I can't find joy in the finalè. I will admit that I loved many things, and even failed to hate a single panel. But no matter how much I pondered over it, I still couldn’t shake off the belief that this isn't the intended ending. It's way too.. rough at the edges. Overall: it's an amazing webtoon, with beautiful art, worthy and genuine plot, real character design, and expressive ambience. Memory to the things I loved: • Helene, you're one of my favourite og!FL. You're steadfast, kind, willing to improve, loving, and most importantly, strong. • Prince Alec, Knight Jason, Priest Huber; each of you was selfish in his own way, but that's the way of man after all. Selfishness is human, and they were too humane. Regardless, none of them was irredeemable, nor did something abhorrently unforgivable. Add to that, all of them had more than their fair share of suffering and will continue to live that suffering for innumerable years. I'm not ashamed to express that I pity them, and would have wished for a redemption arc. • Anahkain, you are beyond perfect. Too flawless to a fault. But I could finally find a sense of reality in you when you didn't hesitate to kill persons that could’ve very well been innocent. The moment I realized you won't hesitate in selfishly obeying the one you love.. only then, was I able to really look at you. If not for that, then you would be a tasteless and childish fairytale. • Eris, although I would've liked to call you by your own name, I realized that I never got to know what it was. Maybe it's intended to implicate that you lost yourself somewhere along the way. I won't flatter you needlessly as I already know how incredible you are. But I disagree with how you dealt with multiple things. I can't criticizes your goal since it's the most realistic thing, however, I can't agree with a few steps you took to reach it. Maybe because you aren't me, yeah just maybe because we aren't the same person, then it makes sense that we would make different choices.

This is one of the realest and prettiest webtoons I've come across. Deep respect to the author for how the webtoon unfolded and also for the ending. There really was no way for Liza and Jihun to be together. Their love is impossible. Sometimes it's just like that; the right person but wrong circumstances that can never be overcome. I also appreciate the way the author dealt with their breakup: no dramatic anguish for any of them. Sure they must have been hurt, they might look back fondly on their memories together, might even miss each other every once in a while, but they will also continue to live their life happily with the people who love them. It's bittersweet.

Refer to ~ch50: I love the FL's father. He's a precious man in this swamp of nutcases. (I also discreetly love the priest because wtf my dude is living for her sake and his entire life purpose is her being. I can't even comprehend how he could look past her abominable cruelty when she locked him up with rapid dogs that he almost died when they were 7. Although well, he made her suffer much more later for a hundred years; sure not out of spite, rather, it was out of insane love and worship mixed with the ignorance of how she was harmed by the repeated regressions he caused.) Shelved for a year or two until completed; since I already know the entire story.

Ch. 56-57: IT'S EFFIN SEALED FOR ME. Gari is the main character to me idfc. He literally spent his years on a very long journey to recollect the dragon shards in order to turn back the time so that Hwi doesn't die and Hwaya loses all life. The last ~10 chapters are INSANE. oh how I sobbed like a kid. Gary died and came back, Lee Ahn sacrificed his eye (man these few chapters were HEART-WRENCHING I SAY), the gorgeous psychos sibling duo died. At the end, Ahn and Ren went back, while Gari decided to stay behind (my second male lead syndrome is grieving like there is no tomorrow). I love Gari and Ahn so much, so even if she ended up with Gari I would still sob for Ahn lmao. Why can't all three men have a happy ending.. all of them would literally sacrifice themselves and the universe for her. The alternative stories had me cry-giggling like a fool.. it's warm but painful, gosh.
