[Opinion until ch.40 so far]: If Cain isn't endgame, then... However much I love Cain would be how much I hate this webtoon. Sir kitty isn't so bad as in inherently evil, but he is so emotionally obtuse that he hurts and disappoints his partner gravely without knowing it. Sure he doesn't intend to be that mean, but why would anyone settle for such an emotionally-draining relationship when you have such a sweet loyal canine like Cain as the other option. [Opinion as of ch.80]: Yahwi and Jooin both suit each other, they both make mistakes so they can figure those out themselves. Cain is way too good for MC. Hope my darling doesn't get swept up in this mess and gets hurt. [Opinion as of Ch.95]: Aaah.. this hurts. Everything is a tangled mess... Probably the only one who stayed true and constant from beginning to end would be that pretty canine, he is the warmest to the very end... Yahwi and Jooin both changed; Yahwi grew up and his character development is immaculate. Jooin, however, I don't know if I understand his thoughts and decisions; I'm not even sure if that's because he is wrong or because me and him are simply different. [Ch.99]: feels almost like the finalè. It's the closure the three of them needed. [Ch.100 genuine reaction]: wtf. How. [Opinion as of ch.100]: so obviously Yahwi and Jooin are back together and I feel kinda resentful. Why couldn't Jooin fall for Cain? What even is love about if not something that slowly grows for the person who treats you right, the person who has never disappointed you, always got your back, always stood there waiting and never left. I can't, won't, and don't want to understand any other type of love. Sure I'm happy because MC didn't end up with cain, as Cain is genuinely way too wasted on him and Jooin is undeserving of such person. HOWEVER, this is the me who thinks 'for' Cain. What Cain wants is another matter altogether, Cain wants his Jooin. So I support what Cain wants although it may not align with what I think, but I wish for whatever he desires to happen. I wish for him to be the happiest ever. [Opinion after finishing]: Yahwi's character growth is amazing, he really matured into a lovely and responsible gentleman. I can understand anyone falling for the final him. However, my heart feels heavy and burdened. I can't cheerfully root for the main couple, not because Yahwi now is not good enough, but because Cain has been way too perfect all along.

One that is too possessive yet ignorantly dense; and another who is so calm, soothing, collected, very kind yet indifferently decisive. (One of my favourite MC's ever. MC's personality is really, really.. attractive. I almost fell for him. It's very rare for me so this kind of butterfly-feeling is a first haha. I understand why everyone is obsessed with him haha it doesn't feel unreasonable at all that he has so many admirers.) (On a separate note, just to keep count of people who like him; Hanhoo, Starr, Cebil, Naz, Perro(?), and uhh another blue-eyes blue-tie dude ig..?) Amazing.... I really love how uncharacteristically tolerant and accommodating Hanhoo is around Chonseol, how much of a push-over he actually becomes when it matters despite how petty and steadfast he might seem on the surface. I love their love for each other omgosh so cute together so perfect. No regrets. Amazing storyline and plot, amazing characters, pleasing art. A webtoon that I love with passion.

I loved this so much that I can't describe my feelings in words. It's the kind of love that makes you cry mostly. The fact that the author confirmed the last scene isn't a dream is the last thread that preserves my sanity. I hope the two leads will manage to be happy in this life, genuinely. Both of them paid too many decades trying (and failing) to chase that happiness they can never seem to catch. (YAY found the book side stories!! They seem to have been doing quite fine for the following 10 years (19 to 29) and the extra ended at Jyo giving her friend a wedding invitation!!)
