Cute couple, this would have been AMAZING if the plot had been properly paced with more chapters. Worth reading at least once.

2.5 stars Normally in these stories I’m like “yes! Finally! A romantic scene!” but the prince is so dull and expressionless in this one that overtime I’m just like “*sigh* Can we get back to the war please ma’am? There’s things to do…” Except when he’s sir Ron, he smiles and is an overall super cute/stud/lady killer~ ugh the look in his eyes~~ gosh ch.82/83/84 is so annoying… Around ch.98 I kinda switched to the Prince’s side unexpectedly… Still ship her mainly with Mel but I know it’s not gunna happen. chapter 99 and im so over this stupid story. the beginning/ middle were good/ alright but i cant take the love part of the plot/ the prince's stupid ass jealousy and the stupid af backstory with the former empress + him planning to kill his brother. Officially over this.

Wow, I really read to ch.29 of this not realizing my Goddess Jade was the artist. Like no wonder I like this story so much. I’m too done with myself, the art style does look really different tho I guess because she’s co-writing/drawing (1-1-20)

Season 1 was really nice to read. Its really a fluff filled manhwa which I love, the duke is so cute~! Already HATE the prince but I get the feeling he'll actually be a prominent character in season 2, and fall for the maid of course because he can tell she doesn't like him which makes her different trope... lets hope it doesn't turn into that... Lets hope they aren't apart for more than two episodes as well, I'm already annoyed by that. The author also went for the obvious "oblivious/he doesn't REALLY care for me trope" which is what has me the most annoyed rn, I swear I like this manhwa it's just the last few episodes it's been hitting those annoying tropes but I'm sure it'll go back to being cute again soon! I have some faith in the author and hopefully a love-y dove-y relationship isn't too far on the horizon... (3/18/20)
The beginning after the end
After getting to around episode 48 I think it was, the action really picked up and it seemed to get less cheesy but maybe that's just me. Overall, its not perfect, there are a LOT of clichés and overly obvious plot points that I feel could have been thought/ drawn out better, but it's getting damn good and I know by the end I will truly love this manhwa, I already think it's amazing. Unfortunately, ill be waiting another 2 months for just season 3 to come out
