Ways of Parting
Read a couple weeks ago. I remember there’s a lot of painful love and then healing new love and smut (average) and it’s super angsty with a beautiful end 3.5 I do think the side couples story was super stupid though and I feel too tragic for ML2.
Unstoppable Siblings
Pretty good drama. Entertaining. Not quite heart wrenching more just like *drama* with some kinda emotional or shocking parts. Mostly a dramatic comedy. I liked it. A lot actually. Would reread (again) Wish there was an after story hardcore but it is what it is. Major props to the author for presentation and making a pretty original/creative romcom. *Pretty light on the actual rom tbh
Minority
Fuck it. 5 stars. Such a simple sort of basic premise (ordinary realistic lives) you expect a basic story but damn does it deliver above expectation. Instead of any overdramatic plot devices or cliches the author really just focuses on the relationship's story and still manages to make it super unique and interesting just from the characters and their interactions with each other. I loved this one so much. It surprised me with how good it turned out to be.
Assorted Wildness
So I gotta get this outta the way first since its a big part of the manhwa, the sex scenes are not it. They aren't the worst I've ever-ever seen and the visuals aren't the issue (they're ok or whatever). Who says "wait", then he waits, the he gets mad because he did what he said??? If someone says wait stop and the top just says "no" that is NOT HOT AKHLDFJGS. Such a pet peeve but I can get over it since the author makes it clear its just some weird kink Jeha has and he doesn't mean what he's saying/ enjoying his time smh its still annoying. I could have done with less of those scenes honestly. As for the story, the end is cute. The relationship as a whole and actually the story itself's ethics are quite questionable but I feel happy the emotionally stunted men found happiness and somehow started loving each other from basically the amnesia-point forward. MC is actually quite likable, a lot of his mistakes just like his sister he makes searching for love and appreciation from others and I feel like his background and character was really well built(?) Definitely a strong point of the story. Honestly though, I have to say its such a toxic ride mostly from the top's part of the story (but mc too for sure) I wouldn't reread or really recommend. I did kind of mostly enjoy it though because its a crazy unpredictable story with a ballsy, cunning, self-sacrificing (cute) mc and the art style is super cutesy and unique.
Usagi no Mori
Just finished vol.3 super heavy topics. Really good tho. Going crazy I can’t read the rest right now asfhjkfsaa this author is top tier. (12/11/2023) they’ve even improved from their last work.
