Hotel Phryne
This is honestly the best psychological thriller I've read in recent years. Holy fuck. The author did such a SPLENDID job. They started off with doyoung already in love with hyunjin but they kept it strictly to his pov so when the clones got in we had no idea how the real hyunjin was. We always saw him through doyoung rose-tinted lenses, so we had no ground to know who was the real one. Every personality is crafted with such care and skill that it really felt like following 10+ characters and it was done so beautifully. I really can't put into words how much I liked. The plot twists... Fuck they were done so well. I literally screamed at some of them. And the emotional parts hit so deep... Hyunjin seeing his own flaws and wishing to get rid of them is so realistic. As I started reading this, I was afraid the ending would disappoint me. I though that there could be no way to resolve the game with a satisfying ending. And yet I was proved wrong! The epilogue is beautiful and I really enjoyed it toy fullest.
Stalker's Game
I think this was an interesting take on the stalker trope bc it didn't try to put him in a good light despite him doing "good" things like doing laundry and helping hyungsun. We read through the story with this increasing sense of oppression, the same felt by hyungsung. I admit I like these kind of stories and characters that aren't good people so my opinion is biased, but I still think this is a valid story with interesting development.
Dogeza, Shite Kudasai.
