Great story. The "we exchange souls" kind of plot never bores me and the political intrigue here is lovely. The characters are so good, the emperor especially! Suyoung is a bit too passive instead, but he's still enjoyable enough. I hoped the final conflict would've been resolved in a different way, especially I would've liked if Suyoung actually did something to help out. Still, I really liked it

I expected NOTHING from this and instead I got an interesting story and likeable characters. What really solidified this as a good story for me is how beloved side-characters meet a tragic end and the protagonist is forced to carry the burden. It's really good
