starts off pretty cliche I’ll admit, but it keeps u turning pages iykwim. then it jumps to a higher level of complexity it eases into and hints at, which is pretty nice to see. its also real nice reading mcs interactions w those around her, and how she comes to “find family” in a way. not done w this yet, but gonna let it marinate

This story has such tragic beauty to it. You go into it looking at the characters from afar, but the more pages your turn and chapters you read, the more you get drawn in. It doesn’t stem around romance or a couple, but around a whole group of complexities im excited to see the characters come to unravel when this story comes to an end. if there’s any read i could give a 5/5 to, it’s this one.

Real wholesome at times, crushing at others. Only at 77, and so far I feel bad for both girls. at the end of the day, there’s nobody to blame but the world they were born into. the father is traumatized in his own right, just as both the girls are in impossible positions where they don’t really have much of a family. you want to root for one girl, but rooting for one wouldn’t mean well to the other—so it creates a sense of stuckness that keeps getting you drawn into the characters. I just hope this story ends with all three of them being happy and having tea.

this story got LAYERS, its complex and just MWAH art style is also really pleasing, same with authors weird love for man boobs but yk what i fuck w it.

Cute story, nice art style, not really anything special about it though. It started off pretty strong, but i feel like the plot was just spearheaded into without much time to breathe in between. mc is kind and smart, though, the ml def eye candy too—regardless, a good read

i’m really not sure what to rate this. on one hand it had me turning pages like a mf, but on the other there’s not much special about it (yet, probably) as this trope—from a very general standpoint—is a lil commonly used. the art style is pretty, the characters are a little flat but alright, and the pacing is alright. i feel like this story creates elements and weaves them in as opposed to having them come out of thin air and be convenient situationally. also the part about the mcs being like fated lovers, or atleast the implication of it, is pretty cool so………. ╮(￣▽￣"")╭

art style is lovely to see—the way the artist of this manhwa really incorporates lighting and situation, making pieces flow nicely on top of having interesting characters that just make you turn pages more and more. ill admit that it does get a little stale as ML determines his love for FL and hides it—imo it feels a little rushed in a way? im not sure how to explain it, but I feel like there could just be more meat to everything. art style and characters aside, the overall plot is interesting as it keeps readers guessing and WANTING to move forward. however it gets to a point where it gets a little confusing which can make it boring, so its not something u can just sit an read mindlessly—you have to read with more intent as opposed to just lookin at the pretty art. overall, def earning that 5/5

binge read all of this, had to use an old shirt to blow my nose into because i ran out of tissues. shit’s sad until like chap 30, then you really start to see homeboy start to grovel. i just wish they were both born into different circumstances and get to live happy on a farm with a dog and a farmhouse where ml can listen to fl play the piano. but in doing so that would erase the complexity of literally everything the story builds on—but unfortunately i am a d1 denialist who only thinks of good things for the afterwards. overall, definitely a good read if you’re looking to shed some tears nd shit.

honestly, there’s nothing real special about this story. but the more you read the more you get attached to the characters. wanting to see rein and val get a happy ending was what promoted me to binge (pretty much) all of this, and let me just say it’s WORTH IT. if you’re into sappy, golden retriever ML’s and black cat FL’s, this is definitely the story for you. i’ve gotta say, though, i wish the whole “original plotline” thing was more developed on. Like i wish terion was more included in the story, rather than just passed off to duke leon. maybe that’s just me lowkey hoping for him to be rein and val’s secret love child……………….but hey it is what it is. overall, definitely a good read if you’re looking for something with dark themes that’s also rather casual!

i need more so bad wtf……….37 chapters and they still got me sitting on the edge of my seat scratching my neck waiting, pleading for thst damn time skip to come so i can finally see mc have her life span extended and live happily with arun and her family
