Karneval
I absolutely love this manga. I find myself rereading this all the time when I want something to engage my brain and keep my up at night lol. It has interesting characters that all have thought out origin stories and who contribute to the plot line. Even with a fantasy setting, I love the wold building the author put into this piece as I found it hard to read stories that just have random bits through together. Everything seems to have a reason, even with the twist of the fantasy sci-fi elements of the story.
The Cradle of the Sea
The pace of this story is quite fast, a bit too fast for the various plot points that happen and I also have a hard time with the way the FL’s actions in the first arc because it puts a child’s life in serious danger. Over looking the child endangerment, the rest of the novel movies fluidly and has many interesting characters with diverse personalities and backgrounds. Another drawback to this piece is that the ending seemed a tad rushed to me, but not so much as to leave a bad aftertaste. Definitely something I’d consider reading again.

LV999 no Murabito
It was good on the first initial phase of things, but then I found myself quickly loosing interest. After a while I’d find myself skipping a few pages here or there to try to get to the meat of the matter and quickly realizing that I do this now for most chapters as of late. It’s not a bad manga, just very wordy(?) and a little bland(?) maybe? I can’t put my finger on it particularly but I honestly can’t keep myself engaged when reading this anymore.
