Completed (read 7.5 chapters). Their first kiss at c07.5. It felt a little boring for me at first as I was not attracted to the character designs but this was quite good. I even teared up and cried at chapter 7 when the homeless man uke saved 3 years ago back in high school recognises uke and thanks him with all his heart saying if it weren’t for him, he wouldn’t get to meet his newborn grandson, that uke is “incredibly kind and strong”. The way the panels showed it was so touching and made me very emotional. Uke also for really emotional afterwards and seme was there for him. God, that got me in the feels BAD. In high school, uke saved a homeless man who was being severely beaten from some school thugs and as he is strong and defeated 3 students, he got a rep as delinquent you don’t mess with so others didn’t approach him. Then due to his rep, other school thugs kept picking fights with him so uke was just defending himself and because he always won being strong and all, his fearsome reputation as top dog and bad boy made him even more unapproachable and seme had always stayed away too. But all uke wanted was a normal life with friends so vowed to have that in university by going to one far away. That’s why he was pissed seeing seme there (uke recognised him immediately as seme stands out due to his tall height). Uke says he’s got no friends and seme offers and they start becoming real close and seeing uke disarmed and smiling and letting him in, seme starts to fall for uke. Seme falls in love first. Being scared, seme starts to distance himself abs avoid uke but instead of letting it go uke confronts seme as seme is important to him. They get attacked from behind by some hooligans from uke’s yankee past seeking revenge on uke. Uke takes the beating feeling somewhat bad as it was his ex-girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend whom she had dumped for uke back then but when uke sees they beat up seme unconscious and gang leader tries to slice off Seme’s earlobe, uke loses it and goes bankai on their asses. They make up afterward when seme inadvertently confesses his feelings and uke realises that’s the reason seme has been avoiding him. Confession seme. Uke let’s seme know he’s not opposed to the idea and to try it and seme is flustered not knowing what to do with himself.
