UTD (read chapter 17 (end v03); v04 to be released in April). First kiss (c17). Honestly, this is a rare work where BOTH characters are extremely FRUSTRATING. They keep going in circles like in a nightmarish loop of anxiety and uncertainty. I love me a good slow burn but this is just torturous. Like seme is too introverted but worse is that for someone like him you need an extrovert to pull him out and you’d think uke being a dumb guy would be that but he’s just as infuriating by constantly overthinking and not doing anything about it and never addressing any issues with seme. And both are NEVER resolving ANYTHING that bothers them instead opting to keep quiet in order not to disrupt their rather fragile relationship despite being childhood best friends. Cowardly seme keeps everything to himself NEVER saying any of the important things he’s feeling yet acts out in jealousy and possessiveness. Dude, how do you expect uke to understand anything of what you’re doing if you’re never honest with him in the first place? Same with uke just wandering in circles in his own head. That’s why I can’t give this a rating of 5/5. These two will make a really sad pairing and I feel sorry for the seme being so in love and in pain over someone who isn’t strong where he is weak. They will make each other miserable I fear, constantly going in circles. Reading (read chapter ?). This author is totally on my radar now that I’ve just discovered how STUNNING her art is (Mar.9, 2022). Everything sensei does is rated above 9.3/10 and while I don’t hold these ratings here in high esteem (many good works were rated low and many horrible works rated high so not always trustworthy), it’s still a reference point and that still means that sensei is consistently amazing. Just goes to show how much her work is loved and how talented they are.

I only JUST discovered this author (Mar.9, 2022) because I happened to stumble on another work (“Snow Fairy” with the photographer seme) by chance and fell in love with sensei’s absolutely beautiful art. And this is certainly no exception, it is STUNNING ART. Like BREATHTAKINGLY STUNNING. It’s so beautiful that I am least bothered about who tops/bottoms and THAT IS SAYING EVERYTHING (not just a lot) since as we know that’s the first and most important thing I look at, who sem/uke is and if I like the type and pairing. I know it’s weird me adding this when I hate multiple stories but I skimmed the first pages of chapter 1 wondering why a multiple stories tankoubon had such high ratings and was highly intrigued by the first story.
