Hugos are human-animal hybrids. This orphan college student who was being bullied is saved by a Hugo. The human seems to imprint or go into heat. The two of them seem to have a heightened interest in each other after that. Jan seems to like both Pray and Jamil. But damn, poor Jamil; he has loved Jan for so long (Jan's whole life) and now has to share. If Jamil liked Pray and vice versa, I'd feel less bad about it. Also, it bothers me that Jamil almost died but Jan didn't visit him in the hospital.

Like the others. Started out good and funny. But in recent arcs it has gotten serious and tiresome.
