High 3 Definitely above average for this genre. Why can't he just say from the beginning that he's her baby-daddy. And why do all the women in these always blame each other and never the men? And why is the child always male in this type of story? Too slow progression. And all of these Chinese ones treat potential children as if they're sacred. It seems a bit fucked up how they treat abortion like the worst thing ever. She finds out she was drugged and had sex with someone she can't remember and just goes, "I love this baby inside me and will do anything for it!" Instead of feeling violated. God I don't like the gender roles in these.

High 3. Above average for this weird Chinese genre where the lady has a baby with a guy but for some reason they do or don't know it and then a few years later are reunited. You know, with a scheming sister and cheating, shitty ex-fiance and a mean family.

Like all those other ones. Too dramatic. Both the female lead and male lead suck. There is a child between them from their past relationship. He has a new lady but the female lead is back in town. Yada yada. Boring. Unpleasant.

No. Bad. Bad hats. Poor gender roles. Unconvincing abilities of kindergartners. Hiding things from women because they are incapable. Promiscuous men who are forgiven on account of them being men.

Low 3. Same unhealthy power dynamic between men and women. Male lead overbearing and possessive. Female lead is willful and a trouble maker and not a very good person and a real pain in the ass. Rich families. Evil, pretty cousin who stole her man in the past and is now aiming for the man who is pursuing her. Marriage meetings. Cop. Cat and mouse.
