Good story line. Good pacing. Reliable characters.

The first 2/3rds of this are really good. But then it becomes a never ending sequence of them facing one hidden enemy after another. But it's not one fight at a time; they'll start one fight then have to resolve some other fight before they get back to the larger fight and each of the smaller fights keep morphing with more plot twists. Like, it's so many concentric fights that none of the big reveals have much impact anymore. There are at least five "but, wait, there's more!" developments in this fighting arch. And that's before they introduce the zombies. Overall, I find that it gets less fun to read.

Flippant, super-hot Noble is hired to protect a level headed scholar who supports/advises the child-king of a neighboring country. Falls into unrequited love with the scholar who is inexperienced in understanding and following his body's desires.

6/10 Kinda sweet. Married in sister's place.

Like the others. Started out good and funny. But in recent arcs it has gotten serious and tiresome.

There's a light novel that goes along with this. It's good, but long.
