Indie movie vibes, first half they were frustrating with their push and pull of constantly being on the verge of both exposing their feelings, both thinking “I like him and I think he likes me too” and then some outside thing making then doubt it and not let them confess till they’re suddenly together halfway through chapters, that made the pacing of first half weird and gave me anxiety that they were gonna be in that nearly there but not there state till the end, but they got together halfway and second half pacing was actually pretty good and they were cute and has some nice conversations, it has happy ending but the narration at the end was also giving anxiety as if they’re telling a story of a past love as if it ended, but no Also I’m a sucker for the “we actually met once before actually meeting now” trope but kinda disappointed they didn’t realize it
