Deep in a cave is sealed the demon Blood who awaits the human who shall cry the purest tears, for the power of the gem created by those tears will break the spell that binds him. One day, Ishuca descends into the cave with his weak heart, intending to put his dying body to one last use. Blood, both attracted and repelled by the young man’s gentle nature, finds it in his cruel, barren heart to change.
