[️️️️] Creatures in the Mist / Monsters in the Mist (Manhwa)(it’s been 2 years since a virus infected mist has spread throughout the world and whoever gets infected turn into zombie-like creatures that drag others into the mist too, so a genius scientist along with his childhood best friend have been rescuing people in the outer regions and collecting information, so that they can break into technologically advanced capital and figure out the source of the virus as well as a cure, but once they get into a secret waterway under the capital, they’re captured by the corrupt prime minister’s son who also happens to be their college senior and had history with the genius, the genius is then separated from his group and sent to work under the prime minister who wants total control and to kill off all the other inferior regions, except the senior also is secretly infected by the virus as well as a previous virus too, but both are still within his body as his brain and control slowly deteriorate, yet wanted to kill everyone along with himself)(the story is action-filled and very political, it gets a bit confusing, the best friend was a fan favourite and had some close calls with death, the seme gets introduced later on around chapter 30 maybe and there’s no instant connection to him cause sometimes even he was hard to understand, still I liked him and his plot but most of all the end where his reason or obsession that kept him sane was the uke, the uke has small eyes which didn’t really suit him, but it was to show he was more focused and reserved, the uke single-handedly saved the world and had been in love with the seme since their college days, although I didn’t quite understand the seme’s mentality at that time, I enjoyed the story and the ending plus the extras were every satisfying cause it has snusnu) 27 July, 2024
