[️️️] The Man's Games (Manhwa)(after studying to be a chef abroad, a woman comes home with determination to finally confess to her long-time crush, who was a neighbour family-friend’s second son, but at her welcome back home dinner between the two families, she slips in her love letter into her crush’s coat, yet when she meets up with the neighbour the next day for his reply, she’s surprised to see the scary elder brother, a lawyer who’s known to hold deep grudges, but she thought he would surely reject her, except he accepts and ask that they date, she was too scared to say no so she also agreed with the hopes of breaking up quick, little did she know that he already knew that the confession was for someone else, still he had the opportunity and decided to try his best with this chance)(simple straightforward plot, easily likeable characters, plot, and cliches, the ML really did love her and proved it time and time again that he would do anything for her, the built up of angst was mid and quickly and nicely resolved, FL gets scarred and it was new to see in a story, the ML was always supportive and protective as he wiggled into her world as she fell for him without notice, last chapter shows their kids) 28 July, 2024

[️️️] Percentage of Love (Manhwa)( two close neighbours who have known each other for a long time have a one night stand and the next day the omega disappears, years later by chance they become neighbours again, but unexpectedly the omega has a child, still the Alpha is in love with his first love omega and tries to win over the omega but gets discouraged when he sees that the omega has another Alpha, except the omega doesn’t have a partner and is hiding the fact that he planned the one night stand because he wanted a child so he wouldn’t be lonely after his father’s death, and that the child is the Alpha neighbour’s as well as he’s still in love with him too)(the Alpha is a green flag, the omega is a bit manipulative to sleep with the Alpha only for a child especially since the Alpha is younger than the omega, still the story is good and fluffy all the way through, the omega does apologise and the Alpha is happy that the kid is his own, very smooth sailing Manhwa, I didn’t like that the kid continues to call his biological father uncle throughout the story until the end when he finds out that the Alpha is his father, although he probably doesn’t know that he’s his biological father but rather the dads get married, also the side story are horrible, they show the kid grows up to be in a love triangle with his childhood twin friends, it was just unnecessary and ridiculous and boring) 29th December 2024

[️️️] Light and Shadow (Manhwa)(born to trapped queen and a tyrannical and perverted king, a princess was raised to ice as a prince so that one day she may take the throne, yet suddenly a revolt broke through the king’s weak castle and took over, thus the queen made sure that the prince escaped and ask that she live as a normal girl, scared she ran away heeding her mother’s words, years later her master forces her to take his daughter’s place to wed a commoner hero of the war, now duke, and to trick him and eventually take the blame for this scheme, so she’s taken to the duke who is uninterested in marriage yet is quick to notice that she’s not the noble lady that he was suppose to marry under the king’s order, feeling her life threatened she offers that she will lawfully wed him in return for her life and his title, intrigued he agrees and takes her in bed before their wedding, the next day to have their marriage ceremony in the town’s church, she notices that the whole land and its people are suffering and on the verge of depletion, she fortifies she will that with her new title as a duchess she’ll help everyone)(the plot was quick moving and good paved, nothing became boring and was cliche yet interesting, the characters were likeable, as for the ML when he forces her into bed although forcefully I felt that the FL had agreed to the terms of their deal and wasn’t raped, many others thought the opposite, still the ML was helpful, supportive, and understanding towards his wife and kinda of a figurehead, while the FL was awesome, she tried to keep she princely skills a secret yet everyone easily found out that she’s not some lowly maid who married a duke, she control and switch between her prince personality and her female personality was very interesting, I love her fight scenes and the way the people follow her, she was OP thou and nothing even came close to harming her which was a bit unrealistic, also the couple are super quick to fall for each other yet the official relationship and confession happen way later, they have 3 kids in which we only see one and for a very short time period, the side characters were also likeable including the other soldiers and the king, the backstories were done very well, for overall I did like it, i could re-read it but only if I truly forget the whole plot and wish to read a straightforward action and romance Manhwa) 22nd September 2024
