[♡♡♡♡♡] Hell & High Water (Manhwa)(in a world of human and therian who are human that can shift into animals, a human detective testifies against his partner for the innocent murder which causes all the police to hate him, so he's trained and accepted into a military defence squad for the major criminal cases regarding therian and human conflict, the squad had an opening due to the recent murder of the team's strict Leader's partner, except the leader doesnt want anyone to replace his partner's position and is reluctant to allow the new guy who's very loud, funny, and flirtatious, but when a serial killer case comes to the team, they have no choice but to work together)(so refreshing, the plot and the setting is so unique and the characters are very funny, the sexual tension is through the roof cause of the uke's innuendos and cheekiness, the case was quite good)(Def Re-Read)

[️️️] Light and Shadow (Manhwa)(born to trapped queen and a tyrannical and perverted king, a princess was raised to ice as a prince so that one day she may take the throne, yet suddenly a revolt broke through the king’s weak castle and took over, thus the queen made sure that the prince escaped and ask that she live as a normal girl, scared she ran away heeding her mother’s words, years later her master forces her to take his daughter’s place to wed a commoner hero of the war, now duke, and to trick him and eventually take the blame for this scheme, so she’s taken to the duke who is uninterested in marriage yet is quick to notice that she’s not the noble lady that he was suppose to marry under the king’s order, feeling her life threatened she offers that she will lawfully wed him in return for her life and his title, intrigued he agrees and takes her in bed before their wedding, the next day to have their marriage ceremony in the town’s church, she notices that the whole land and its people are suffering and on the verge of depletion, she fortifies she will that with her new title as a duchess she’ll help everyone)(the plot was quick moving and good paved, nothing became boring and was cliche yet interesting, the characters were likeable, as for the ML when he forces her into bed although forcefully I felt that the FL had agreed to the terms of their deal and wasn’t raped, many others thought the opposite, still the ML was helpful, supportive, and understanding towards his wife and kinda of a figurehead, while the FL was awesome, she tried to keep she princely skills a secret yet everyone easily found out that she’s not some lowly maid who married a duke, she control and switch between her prince personality and her female personality was very interesting, I love her fight scenes and the way the people follow her, she was OP thou and nothing even came close to harming her which was a bit unrealistic, also the couple are super quick to fall for each other yet the official relationship and confession happen way later, they have 3 kids in which we only see one and for a very short time period, the side characters were also likeable including the other soldiers and the king, the backstories were done very well, for overall I did like it, i could re-read it but only if I truly forget the whole plot and wish to read a straightforward action and romance Manhwa) 22nd September 2024
