i was looking for historical bl but found this gem. it’s funny, it’s cute, and the art is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

THE MC IS SO BADASS I LOVE HER. i think it’s suspicious though, how the story is progressing. usually, in stories where the main character is super strong and unbeatable, there will come a time where they get beat and are humiliated. since the mc was badass from the start, i can’t help but think that that time will come soon. also i love how she makes the guy all flustered instead of it being the other way around. (10/23/2018) after reading many cn novels i have come to the understanding that there are many op mcs that always resolve problems and never get caught off guard too much so.... also after having a taste of better op mc novels i find this one a bit lacking. in most cn novels, conveniences are abundant, but in this one i think that the author could have done better. maybe it’s palatable in the novel but i’m not exactly jumping to read it anytime soon. hhh okay so i was a damn fool again and instead of reading the novel first i read the manhua. it’s super super good so far, though. i love the mc and how cunning she is. i don’t really know how old the ml is but i know that he’s at least older than fifteen and she’s currently twelve so that may be a problem lmao. their interactions are really adorable, though, and i can’t wait to see them when they’re married. it’s quite understandable in the beginning but toward chapters 40-(currently)59, it gets confusing. so i’ll read the novel and cry some more once i finish the available chapters ^^ (10/23/2018) AFTER READING ALL OF THE AVAILABLE CHAPTERS I HAVE BECOME A BIT DISAPPOINTED IN THE MANHUA BECAUSE THE NOVEL IS 1000% BETTER (though is it really surprising) ALSO XUAN TIAN MING IS LIKE 20 SO IT’S KINDA WEIRD (12/08/2018)

the parts where the men discriminate against the women makes my blood boil, but i’m glad that the men in sanghee family came to love her. the eldest brother and sanghee are my favorite characters. i really appreciate that freesia and sanghee are friends despite both being interested in jinsu. how does jinsu feel about sanghee was murdered in their past life? like it’s never brought up between them. i want to see how he reacted when he found out!! i’m kind of suspicious about chris. i don’t want to be, but sometimes i feel like he was the obsessive guy who killed sanghee in their past life. i like how dongsoo eventually became one of sanghee’s people!! i want to see the twins again :(( how are they? do they miss sanghee?

ming yue makes me so happy. she’s so positive and tries her best. i hope they have a baby soon!! i’m excited about that. i wonder what happened with yung ci (?) and that one dude. suspicious.

i read the novel beforehand and, obviously, it’s better than the manhua. the story is simple, cute, and it’s an easy read. the manhua hasn’t been updated in a few months but the novel itself is already complete with a few extras.

tbh people who are complaining about how ria being reincarnated doesn’t really have anything to do with the story.. are probably not reading the same manhwa lmao. it’s been said time and time again that she would have been killed if she didn’t act the way she did. her mentality started to regress as people treated her as a child for years, and her body was one as well. i hope ria ends up with the white haired boy, or like... anyone her body’s age. i really don’t want her to marry that demon dude or whatever. anyways, it’s kind of slow paced, unlike ‘they say i was born a king’s daughter’ which had many time skips, but i think it’s nice. we get to see her relationship with her dad and the way she finds out about the lives of the people around her. sometimes it’s slower than what i’d like but it’s cool. her dresses are so pretty like in ‘they say i was born...’ and i want them so much ahh 11/26/2018 ————— holy shit compared to everything that’s come out in the years since, this is awful little did i know when i made that last “review” ria stays a kid for a little bit too long. story wise. i don’t think i’ll ever pick this up again. 11/10/2023

i... cried. like always lmao. i thought that i could handle it because i saw a spoiler in the comments but i was wRONG. butterfly crying made me sO sad and then the twins tried to comfort her which made me bawl like a baby. butterfly seemed really young in the beginning (which... she kind was. fifteen.) and then not knowing how old chinatsu was in comparison was a little ehh for me like “hhhh this could get kinda weird” but in the end it doesn’t matter. they’re such a cute couple and are completely devoted to each other. all in all, an amazing manga. i’m kind of stunned.
