Vegapunk Evil (Lilith)'s manga / #yaoi(79)

This literally only makes 4 stars for the art. The main series is fine, but a bit lacking compared to the author's other works. And the one shot just doesn't do it for me. Exorcism is boring as far as fuck or die scenarios.

I like somno, but the pacing is so fast. I kinda wish there was less plot/romance and the story just revolved around the smut. Not bc I think you can't do somno yaoi with plot, but because it needs a bit more room to breathe than this. I don't buy that speedy resolution. And the weight and magnitude that the opening page carries is completely lost in what this becomes. Which is a chapter and a half of cheap fluff. Somnophilia is (generally, and in the case of this work) a CNC kink. And it's a frankly bizarre artistic choice to have a work that both explicitly uses the word rape to describe the mc's actions, but also treats is conflict as so incredibly low stakes.

It's been a while since I've read this one, but I have read it several times. From what I can remember, it's good. Definitely want to read it again at some point. You kind of have to love the yakuza angel with tiny wings and a foul mouth who loves to reassert his blowjob skills.

I liked this. It did the childhood proposal trope in a much more likable and believable way than I think I've ever seen.

Impressively fleshed out, especially for a oneshot. Proof positive that short form yaoi can still be narratively satisfying.
