Vegapunk Evil (Lilith)'s manga / #yaoi(77)

Dropped after the first chapter so my complaints may not be relevant to the work as a whole. This being an isekai makes very little sense. Isekai stories have the fish out of water premise baked in by default. As a story whose premise is in a slave's freedom being bought giving him the chance to live comfortably, there is once again a fish out of water story line baked in. But the two premises conflict. By being a doctor from modern Japan, the protagonist is familiar with comfort. He understands what it is like to live life without being a slave. So basing his early characterization off of his inability to conceptualize the world outside of his status as a slave doesn't track with his backstory of not being a slave. You'd think that upon meeting people who treat him well, he might find a sense of familiarity and nostalgia for his previous life, but no.

Mid as fuck. Unrequited love+reincarnation demands at least some focus on the past lives. I'm not expecting mdzs levels of plot/character writing from a 5 chapter porn series that isn't too invested in its own story, but given that it is trying to have a bit of plot I wish they would've imbued it with a little pathos.

The first chapter was good, but then chapter 2 comes in with shota bs. Dropped.
