At Kuzunoha Magic Academy, Azami, a dark magician, discovers a student, who turns out to be the son of a master light magician Sagiri, affected by a werewolf curse and uses his dark magic to stop him. However, Sagiri threatens to expose him, if Azami doesn't help him break his curse. Though he initially tries to convince Sagiri to find a more skilled magician, wanting to earn money for his orphanage, Azami agrees to help break Sagiri's curse, as long as he pays.
