Souichirou has never been to make friends due to his scary looking face, which even caused all of the art club members to quit when he joined. One day, Souichirou finds a beautiful senpai, Kaname, sitting alone in the art room and asks him to join the club and be his model. When Kaname looks at Souichirou's sketchbook and sees a nude drawing of himself, Kaname assumes Souichirou asked him to model with impure intentions after hearing the rumors that Kaname sells his body.

Everyday, Shibamoto looks forward to seeing a German Shepard, Kotaro, that comes to his part-time job for his morning walk. One day, when Shibamoto bends down to pick up a cigarette, Kotaro suddenly jumps on him and Shibamoto meets his scary owner Inukai. However, at his university, Shibamoto ends up running into Inukai, a 3rd year on the track team, and learns the only thing scary about him is his face. As they're bonding over their love of dogs, and Kotaro, Shibamoto becomes aware of Inukai.

Jin has always loved cute and filly things, but is bullied due to his girlish taste. Jin's only friend since childhood is Suzume, a sparrow he saved that seems to understand human speech. One day, Jin is surrounded by a group of scary individuals, but the boy in the middle asks to be his friend, vowing to protect him. Later, when Jin is locked in the storage shed by his bullies, he is saved by the boy and his friends and learns they are friends with Suzume, but the boy's name is also Suzume.
