Omega judo captain Mochizuki and alpha karate captain Ishio get along like oil and water, always arguing over the small gym space they're forced to share. After Ishio tells Mochizuki to be more aware that he's an omega, Mochizuki shows Ishio his bare skin, teasing him that he's a virgin, but Ishio, flustered, says he'd never desire a gorilla like Mochizuki. After Miyama interferes with a fight Tsubame's losing, annoyed, Tsubame challenges him to a fight. Though Tsubame finally wins against Miyama, Tsubame immediately goes into heat right after and is attacked by Miyama. This incident causes Tsubame to realize his feelings for Miyama, but Miyama starts avoiding Tsubame.

Kurihara is in a one-sided rivalry with Kawase, who Kurihara always takes 2nd place to. Kurihara's hostility toward Kawase causes them to argue. However, as Kawase notices Kurihara's deteriorating condition, caused by recklessly disregarding his own needs in order to study more, Kawase is worried and unable to leave Kurihara alone. When Kurihara, overwhelmed by another loss, finally breaks down, Kawase realizes he wants to support Kurihara by his side, hoping to see his smile.

Akira hates Kaito, who has stolen his spot as the no. 2 host and his customers and sexually harasses him on stage. Though their relationship improves after Akira helps Kaito's grandmother, when the lost dog, Fuji, Akira has been keeping turns out to be Kaito's lost dog, Kaito thinks Akira kept Fuji from him out of spite, causing things to get even worse. Despite the misunderstanding, Kaito saves and takes care of Akira after a customer drugged him and Akira's feelings for Kaito begin to change.

To 1st year Hino of East High, West High is the enemy, especially The Demon of the West, 2nd year Onikubo, who Hino has yet to be able to defeat. When Hino picks up a chick coin purse, Hino is shocked to discover it's Onikubo's and that he loves cute things. After that, Hino challenges to a fight Onikubo everyday, though they only end up hanging out instead. Just as it seems like they're becoming friends, Onikubo steals Hino's first kiss.
