Gloomy and gay college student Cole is in love with the most popular guy on campus Alex. After dinking at a party, Cole confesses to Alex, but Alex only responds with amusement and an "interesting" before leaving. Drunk again the next day, Cole cries to Alex about ignoring his confession and Alex agrees to try seeing if he could go out with him. While having sex, Alex sees Cole's heterochromatic eyes for the first time and becomes interested in them, agreeing to go out with Cole.

Kijima catches Tachibana putting a love letter in his shoe locker, but when he confronts Tachibana, they realize Tachibana had been putting the letters in the wrong Kijima's locker. Kijima tells him to take responsibility for the mistake, so Tachibana agrees to go out with him until he's satisfied. When Tachibana tells him reason for the letters was that "Kijima" had helped him when he'd lost his wallet in the cafeteria, but couldn't see who helped him, Kijima realizes it was him who helped.

Hazuki is a socially awkward and earnest member of the product planning department, who hates seeing couples in public and his coworker Watanabe. Watanabe is a popular member of the same department that Hazuki thinks he is superficial. But, Hazuki's feelings change when Watanabe invites Hazuki to eat with him at his house on the weekend. Never shown kindness by anyone, Totoki falls for the first and only person who does, popular student Yoshizawa. However, Totoki's crush makes him too scared to face Yoshizawa and he always ends up running away. Suddenly, Yoshizawa reveals he's noticed Totoki's feelings and Yoshizawa, who's been wondering if he himself is gay, asks to date Totoki as an experiment to see if he can fall in love
