When Tsubaki returns home from school one day, his mother suddenly introduces him to her young boyfriend Reiichi and announces he will start living with them. Though everyone is suspicious of Reiichi, Tsubaki wants to give him the benefit of the doubt and, as they interact, Tsubaki begins to believe Reiichi is genuine.
