Takashina is sensitive to smells and can't stand the smell of synthetic fragrances. When he has an excuse to leave a drinking party early by returning a key to the lab, Takashina meet his withdrawn lab senpai Ariji, whose flowery scent captivates Takashina. When Takashina finds out Ariji is having trouble with his experiment, he offers to help out, but not wanting to owe anyone anything, Ariji refuse. So, Takashina says in exchange for assisting Ariji, Ariji can let Takashina smell him.

Hibiya is a beta researcher and Yagami is a new researcher on Hibiya's research team. Yagami claims to have meet Hibya a long time ago, but Hibiya doesn't remember him. After an accident in the lab, it is revealed Hibiya has transitioned from a beta to an omega and Yagami tries to help him as he adjusts to his new body and work life.
