As a university employee, Ryouichirou is tasked with take in exchange student Qaltaqa, a native from an isolated village. Qaltaqa turns our to be beautiful man and a warrior of his tribe, but he can't understand Japanese and is afraid of everything modern. Ryouichirou initially finds it difficult to deal with him, but he soon finds the man and his efforts endearing.
