Half-Italian and half-Japanese Kokoro has moved from Italy to a village in the Japanese countryside and the first person he meets is Haiji, a family-oriented delinquent who's serious about farming. Haiji begins to look out for the friendly, but naive Kokoro, but Kokoro's penchant for giving him kisses causes Haiji to fall for him. So, Haiji is troubled when he finds out the reason Kokoro came to Japan was to fall in love with a Japanese partner like his mother.

While helping in the vegetable fields, Minoru finds a lost child, Sola. However, Sola claims he's not lost, he came from a far away planet to look for his wife. Minoru thinks he's just a strange child, but he can manipulate peoples memories and gets bigger overnight. Sola really is an alien. On top of that, Sola says his wife is actually Minoru.
