Teacher Jinno reunites with his former student Morimoto when Jinno coincidentally moves next door to him. However, Jinno has forgotten that as a student Morimoto confessed to him. After Jinno proposes getting a meal together to catch up, Morimoto cooks for them at his place and, at Morimoto suggestion, they begin eating together regularly.

Kami, a gay man who has given up on love after the marriage of his unrequited love, always makes huge lunchboxes, despite never eating with anyone. One day, Kami opens his door to find Waki, an excitable food reporter with no sense of taste. After eating Kami's cooking, Waki begins to visit Kami's worksite to share his lunch everyday. When Waki begins living with Kami due to a fire, Kami finds himself falling for Waki, but not wanting the same experience as before, Kami puts a wall between them.

One day, the cafe where Tsuburaya works receives an arrogant and rude customer, Tatsumi, but Tsuburaya is able to deal with Tatsumi calmly and Tatsumi, pleased by the food, begins coming everyday. When Tsuburaya finds Tatsumi standing outside of the cafe on its day-off, Tatsumi brings Tsuburaya to his home to cook. While spending time with Tatsumi, Tsuburaya realizes, rather than being arrogant, Tatsumi lacks social skills and common sense. So, Tsuburaya decides to help teach him what he lacks.

Nagiri is a closed off man working in the grocery store's deli. Everyday, around the same time, the same salaryman Takano comes, and, eventually, Nagiri realizes Takano always buys the foods that he made. While seeing Takano disappointed when the dish he wants is sold out or excited when it is delicious, Nagiri finds himself wanting to talk to Takano more. One day, Nagiri gets the chance, when he invites Takano over for dinner.

5 years ago, on his way home from work, Yuta accidentally walked through a portal and into another world. Now, he makes a living in that world making okonomiyaki and he keeps running into disasters. He regularly gets proposed to, via duel, due to his black hair color. One day, when Yuta's about to duel, Mel, a beautiful customer, offers to fight in Yuta's place and Yuta agrees without knowing someone fighting in your place means you belong to him. So begins Mel and Yuta's married life.

However, as a high schooler, Takeyoshi only has his cooking skills and his audacity.
