Ch. 1: Cop Asuma is order to get information from yakuza Yotsume, his college kendo kouhai. Shimojou had alway been at the top, but in high school he finally tasted defeat when he lost to Kuze and vows to be the one to bring his new rival down. Now, Shimojou is a yakuza, and bored with everything, lis ooking a plaything. When Shimoujou finds being a filthy man being mugged in an alley, he turns out to be his former rival Kuze and Shimoujou takes in the good for nothing Kuze. But, he finds out Kuze is actually an undercover detective.

Tsubaki is a police officer who had gone undercover to infiltrate Kajiro's yakuza group, but is discovered by Kajiro. However, Tsubaki switches sides after Kajiro accepts Tsubaki's innate violent nature, saying they are both abnormal. Now, Tsubaki has become attached to Kajiro like a possessive dog, but he is unable to understand him, so he begins trying to find out more.

Detective Issei approaches yakuza Suguru at a bar in hopes of making him an informant for Issei investigation into Suguru's group. Suguru, annoyed by Issei, offhandedly agrees as long as Issei blows him and lets Suguru top him. Willing to do anything for justice, Issei is unperturbed by Suguru's conditions. As Issei exchanges his body for information from Suguru, they become hooked on each other.
