BWAT never disappoints. This story was a masterpiece unraveling the historical story of two nations and the social expectations of its era. The mcs are both alphas and enemies in fact but a special medicine taken gives the mc ability to reproduce and bear an egg, producing offsprings for the continuation of their lineage. I’ve experienced exciting times and even down moments with this story but overall it concluded better than anticipated. Started off awfully as nakyum was detained and forced into an erotic relationship and labor (painting). He was later physically and emotionally abused and only when seunghon finally came clean about his feelings did their relationship lighten a bit. The author having seen the readers feel relieved decided tk throw in another curveball by having the teacher shit come back, force himself on nakyum and cause the lovers separation as soon as they became official. Nakyum was sent off to the countryside where his lover only came to find him after all political and social threats against their relationship subsided and they lived happily ever after. Fucking hell that was a wild ride
