1000/10 - I loved this so much! I love how wholesome Abella and Amond's relationship was; how devoted, affectionate, and loving he was for her; I loved that Amond fell in love with Abella at first sight, how he found her as beautiful as a goddess while he still truly appreciated and respected her skill, and devotion to her work and her as a person, and respected her autonomy and didn't try to change her or hold her back. He's a 100% great husband-material. The fact that he is the DRAGON KING just makes it cuter and more awesome.
I loved how Abella's desserts could bring all sorts of people AND beings together; how Abella's talent and knowledge could be utilized so far as helping to stop a WAR between two RACES of beings, running her own bakery, becoming the CEO of a flourishing franchise that had shops in multiple countries, help make people and beings see the light (and also make some horrible people *cough* Kelly a better person), bring about peace, a TRUCE, and finally make it known and historically documented WHY the war started in the first place and WHY the dragons hated humans.
I liked that there were no female love-rivals and I loved that there were multiple couples. I also really liked that some characters got some well-needed character growth. I just wish that Bein would have gotten a happy ending. I really liked him. He was a good person to begin with and just got better along the way thanks to Abella. I felt really sorry for him and wished he'd find love that was actually MUTUAL. However, I was so happy that they found a way so that Abella and Amond would be able to be together for a VERY long time; they would share their lifetime, and compromise so that it's not the usual lifespan of a dragon (approx. 1000 years) or a human (approx. 100 years), but met in the middle--500 years.
The ending was VERY satisfactory, and I will re-read this.
