I generally don't read these types of stories. But this was hilariously convoluted and I enjoyed it immensely. This was not a romance, and my my asexual heart enjoyed that the side plot did not dominate the main plot. Yes, it was there but there was also a lot more acceptance of ambition than frantic cringe. It was almost like a relief.

This is way better than expected.

A twist on a twist. Usually the villain less is fully aware of the situation, having been armed with dramatic irony. But this FL is too soft to be reading vengeful dramas. It's a good turnabout.

A villainess who is actually a villainess.
