The Strongest Florist
Solo Leveling
Currently purchased the first 4 books of the novel at my local bookstore. That's how much I love it.
Return to Player
I've kind of become obsessed with video game stories. This one took me awhile to get into and I considered giving up on it a couple times. It's finally gotten interesting, so I might stick with it.
Quan Zhi Gao Shou Manhua
So the story got rebooted at chapter 66. New artwork and dialogue. Better quality, but still a bit disappointing when all the new chapters are parts of the story that I've already. Still loving it though.
Kiss the Abyss
So I think this is the first videogame story that I've read that isn't based on an RPG. Not only is it BL, but it's a horror game. And it's done pretty well.
Raiding the Vampire Count
Love the player's awareness of the game. This is adorable.
I Grow Stronger By Eating!
By chapter 10, there really isn't a reason to like the MC who engages in cannibalism and torture. He has no goals or purpose. He kinda ends up just stumbling into a plotline and forcing an alliance with the undercover hero. ETA: Added a star. It takes 10 chapters for the story to start. Basically, a group of disparate characters with complex backgrounds go for an adventure. each world building story gets a rushed couple pages, while the psycho with no emotions gets 10 chapters. Still very annoyed with how this story progresses, but the world balance stuff is really interesting. ETA2: Added another star. It's strange how the way the title and the synopsis are written can change the way you read a story. like, I think the first 10 chapters would have been far more enjoyable if they had named the story something like... Cannibal Psycho Tags Along On A Hero's Quest
Skeleton Soldier (Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect the Dungeon)
I've become obsessed with stories that read like video games and this one definitely made use of game mechanics that hadn't been used before. I got really excited thinking it would have the action adventure feel of All You Need is Kill with the whole "live, die, repeat" motive. But 22 chapters in and I'm bored as fuck. Also, all the strong position females quickly become nothing more than busty damsels in distress. The only "live, die, repeat" that happens in this story is the next female that comes along.
