So confused on this. Lol. It did not go where I thought it was going. Not really my thing, but probably bc it was done in a cute way.

This is SHOTA. Let's get that out of the way. It's dark and twisted. It's about a child trying to come to terms with what happened to him, trying to reconcile his loving memories with sexual abuse, and failing. No one gets saved in the end. No one is punished. That said, the story is good, the imagery is disturbing, and I will never read this story again.

The main story arc is NOT a sexy yaoi. It's abusive In a messed up way bc the bad guy isn't THE bad guy, but he's still doing bad things. They eventually figure it out, but it's a relationship that starts with unintentional grooming. It reminds me of Okane ga Nai (?) where the intent to pay back a kindness gets so twisted but then they get all cute in the end. I really don't care for ukes drawn so femme it looks like shota. The side story was so much better and different. It also played on the ultra femme uke stereotype in a hilarious way.

The age gap is kind of weird. I don't know if it's the way they're drawn or is there was a mistranslation. But it seems like a much bigger age gap earlier in the story and then it ends up closer. But maybe that's bc of where they were at in their adolescence when they met up. I liked the later chapters better.

Attractive artwork. Cringey story. Sappy dialogue. Everyone looks to be in the same age group, so the reveal is very manufactured. I enjoy PWP, but not this mess. It's sad when good smut almost repulsive bc the story is so bad.

Definitely not my usual, but turned out to be really good.

Cute story. Very smutty. The excessive size of man fits were a bit much for me. But I still enjoyed it.

I do love middle age ukes.

I really like the story, but I do not like the art work. Especially how the MC is drawn. Like some of the scenes repulsed me. Or maybe it's the age gap. But I like the story. Even the cringe parts are adorable.
